1.Use a good brush - While you might be tempted to skip the sometimes pricey purchase of a mineral make up brush - and use your old blush brush instead - don't! Having a soft, well made, pliable brush is key to a good application.
2.Use a light touch - The biggest mistake we make putting on mineral makeup is using too much. A little goes a long way, so go for a light dusting first and then add more where you need extra coverage.
3.Use a primer - Make up primers are terrific under any foundation - but they're a must under mineral makeup. They'll keep your application smooth and you'll need less to get great coverage.
4. Blend with a clean brush - After you've applied both your mineral makeup and your mineral blush, use a clean, fat "kabuki" brush to gently go over your face and remove any excess mineral powders.
5. Make certain moisturizer, sunscreen or day cream is dry before applying mineral makeup. Wait at least 2 minutes after putting on skin care before applying mineral makeup. This will help you avoid blochiness and uneven color.
6. Spray your face with water to set mineral makeup. Once you have the look you like, keep it that way longer by lightly spritzing your face with a fine mist of mineral water. It works to set the mineral makeup.
